Osszián Péter-Szabó
licensed psychologist | specialist in health psychology
We all deserve to feel balanced, fulfilled, and in control of our lives. My role as a psychologist is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and underlying behaviour patterns. Throughout the counseling sessions you can develop the tools to build a life that aligns with your values and true needs.
"Consciousness isn’t a journey upward, but a journey inward. Not a pyramid, but a maze."
— Bernard Lowe, Westworld (HBO, 2016)

Making long-lasting changes is a complex journey. It requires us to face psychological challenges and step outside of our comfort zone. The key to sustainable adjustments lies in recognising our psychological needs, being mindful about our ineffective patterns, and choosing better coping mechanisms. Standing up for ourselves assertively yet transparently, and carrying our true self in a more confident manner. Shifting from being passive observers to active shapers of our own lives.
By doing so, we gain access to one of the most valuable treasures: physical, mental, and social well-being. This translates to more balance with joyful moments on the short-term, and with consistecy, leads to a longer, healthier, more fulfilling life in the course of time.
If we work on lifestyle changes, a longer process of 12-18 sessions is recommended to establish and maintain healthy habits. Depending the amount and complexity of deeper psychological changes, the counseling process can take from 3 to up to 12 months. In these cases, we start with weekly sessions and gradually transition to biweekly or monthly follow-ups.
The goals are always set collaboratively during the first few sessions, ensuring that the process remains structured, transparent, and tailored to your needs, and we always have checkpoints to assess whether we should change direction or adjust the frequency.
